Other People’s Money by John Kay

A thoroughly brilliant analysis of the modern financial services world and its failings. Funny, too, peppered with apposite quotes. His proposals for reform are very convincing indeed.

A very good read if you are interested in the financial crisis and the process described by Kay of ‘financialisation’, when the financial services industry expanded to carry out all sorts of pointless activity, largely with itself.
