Maigret Sets a Trap by Georges Simenon

Classic Maigret – lots of murders in an atmospheric ‘50s Paris. A lot of drinking, too. In one scene, before going into the murderer’s flat to confront them, he has a beer in the brasserie across the road.

A lot of weather, too. He always refers to the weather.

Nice one, Georges.
